Filip Mueller whose fathers and forefathers are centuries of pure Slovakian blood. He was taken on the very first transport to the extermination camps when Hitler's SS Stormtroopers began to descend the river Danube to the gateway of the Black sea and the White sea. The SS Stormtroopers have explicitly designed lists of the most influential families and they always load the first transport with those who rival Hitler most of all. Filip boarded this first train to Auschwitz in 1942. Here between the mountain pass of the Alps mountain range and the Carpathian mountain range on the river Danube no one could imagine what was laying at the end of the railroad tracks. Everyone behind Filip at the entry between the two mighty mountain ranges of Europe would get a chance to take warning of the storming of the holocaust troopers. But Filip lived in the face of the lightning war, in the moment that the extermination campaign pivoted from the captured Soviet prisoners of war on the Ukrainian front of the Dnieper river. Hundreds of thousands of soldier's from Russia were taken captive after surrender from the heinous traitor Stalin who mass murdered his own country and never stopped not for one day or hour. The Russians were taken to Dachau and Auschwitz and exterminated by the hundreds of thousands. Now the SS Stormtrooper regiment had moved to the southern face of the Carpathian mountain range and Filip's bloodline was the first on the extermination list. In a mad dash across the economic infrastructure at south Poland the commandant of Auschwitz, had just finished completing the base capacity for the camp at the open end of his pistol barrel by commandeering every building material and molding the fifty incinerators for the five crematoria where all of Europe's family's would be vaporized and the zyklon contaminated ashes dumped into the Vistula river waters. Now Filip arrives and immediately as a tribute of his family heritage had befriended the prisoners block leaders who secured him a place on the Sonderkommando where he would be given food rations above the level of the starvation diet. Therefore securing himself against death by hunger. In the first year Filip stood beside the burning pits where the corpses of thousands were turned to rivers of fat and dust. Thousands of the people of his homeland came to the threshold of the death camp where they had no further chance to escape. He was the first of his people to arrive. The first transport from Slovakia. All of his people came behind him. The thousand white, blondes, brunettes with green and blue eye human beings were told to take off all their clothes in the courtyard by a regal looking and handsomely dressed military men with other equally handsome men beside him in white gloves and fancy uniforms. One-thousand at one time were beaten like a herd of animals with women and their children's short legs running beside them as they stumble naked through the back of the crematorium where the mass grave pits are burning. The pits are surrounded by SS Stormtroopers rifle always pointing upward never downward. They are shot and fall into the burning grave. Three-thousand fit in each burning trench. Filip stokes the fire with long tools, wearing his striped and tattered, soiled prisoner clothes. There goes the country of Slovakia. They don't die when they are shot, their bodies are thrashing because a bullet to the back of the head does not kill immediately unless it is a perfect placed shot. But it was not until his status had increased and two years had passed with such soul crushing weight of the prisoners rebellion on his conscience that his hope was extinguished and he needed someone to save his own existance. By late 1943 the Kapos of Auschwitz realized that there were periodic cycles of exterminations of the Kapos themselves together. After the liquidation the Kapo of the Sonderkommando were all replaced. It would be impossible to go on. The Sonderkommando would be forced to fight or die and the hour would come very fast. Filip told us the most intimate testimony you will ever have the privledge of knowing from the inside of the Sonderkommando rebellion. When Crematorium 4 was liquidated and another heroic survivor from the Sonderkommando survived by hiding in the chimney until morning. Filip was in crematorium two alongside David Nencel and both survived when the SS came and shot every third man face down on the ground from all of the five crematorium combined. The next months before the evacuation and destruction of Auschwitz by the Russian front advance were the months when Filip's hands were unable to keep ahold of the last rey of his starving existence. The Czechoslovakian camp at Auschwitz was ordered liquidation. The men who helped his Sonderkommando gather gas for explosives and tools to defend their life in the Sonderkommando revolt were being brought to the crematoriums. All of the Czechoslovakian camp was liquidated because Hitler had to retreat from Poland. The Russians were surging. When the people were striped in the hall outside the gas chamber Filip went into the gas chamber with the first 1,000 as they waited for the next 1,000 to do the thirty minutes undressing and therefore fill the gas chamber capacity for the extermination. The people of Czechoslovakia spoke to him there in the chamber and told him, he must take a message from them back to the living world. They gave him a necklace and kisses and then they pushed Filip back outside the gas chamber door. Filip survived the death march of the evacuation of Auschwitz which happened weeks later. A brutal and deadly march which Filip survived. And finally when Filip was liberated, you will see his testimony is full of calculation and the darkest secrets of Auschwitz for the entirety of its operation come into the light when we are together with Filip. From first to last transport of the family trees of the European continent. #WW2 #Holocaust
