Holocaust world war 2 Survivor Hans Prause testimony coupled with real time historical testimony from Gaza holocaust world war 3

Hans Prause, survivor of Germany. I became a member of the Federal railway and spent 3 years as construction site manager. I became Reich railroad foreman 1938, I went east when Poland was conquered. We needed to expand the railway system which continually grew toward the east depending on how the war was going. The administrative offices in Poland were commanded by Germans, we took over station masters. The operations were entirely Polish personnel, the war couldn’t be waged without Polish train people, the Polish train driver stayed in the train. The railway lines were critical for us. They had 2,000 kilometers of tracks to the east in the direction of Stalingrad with few tracks for passing, that was difficult during active use, there were breaks here and there. Sometimes outside of Brestlitovsk we had 30 trains standing there that couldn’t continue. 1941 I went to Warsaw for the military build up against Russia. The railways had to be repaired, we needed engine transformer stations, we built the train station Sochatchev, an engine changing station. I had an assignment 8 days before the war with Russia was to start, to get Polish railway telegraphers at the border railway stations, to replace the Polish telegraphers with Germans, for security. The Russians delivered wood to Germany and we delivered all manner of things Russia wanted. The arrival of trains was announced and approved on the Morse code equipment where the Poles sat, we were afraid of Polish spies. I saw many German troops arriving from France, that was the beginning of the Russian campaign, I was preparing the railway for the military buildup. In my district is a killing center, Treblinka, trains were going there from both sides. Once a German soldier refused to be witness any longer, “either it stops or we want to get out of here”, a young captain spit in the face of the train station police. The biggest calves choose their own butcher. A railway director signs the schedule telegrams for trains every day but the train has already been scheduled, the trains ran in spite of that. Only the partisans could stop the transport trains. There was an expression “the haggling Jew”, the Jews haggle over everything. Then one day I got a call from the Warsaw railway station that the ghetto was on fire. The German told me, we are here at the other end of the sewer tunnel and out of it are coming a stead stream of Jews. By that time a whole bunch had disappeared already. But they didn’t have much of a chance with the Poles, the Pole hardly ever protected a Jew.
