Holocaust world war 2 Survivor Willem Kettelarij testimony coupled with real time historical testimony from Gaza holocaust world war 3
Willem Kettelarij, holocaust survivor of Netherlands. My
father was a farmer, and of the protestant church. He became a Jehovah’s
witness and changed his occupation to construction worker. I read through one
of the publications from Jehovah’s witness then I became very interested. I
studied for weeks, then my brother in law told me I can go out and preach. I
was baptized in 1939, then Brother Mueller advised me to be a full time
preacher. I was assigned to the east of Netherlands on the border with Germany.
German Jehovah’s witness informed us what was happening in Germany. After I
arrived the Germans moved into this place. The printer was still printing, the
last brochure we printed 1942 was named “Fugitives”. Two brothers were doing
all the printing. I was a travelling overseer who travels from one group to
another to serve these groups. Several times I was arrested in street raids and
I managed to escape. We went house to house, there was a secret code, a flower
in a certain place or the curtains only on one side, then we would know if it was
safe or not. Both of us helped 80 people become Jehovah’s Witness. In the
beginning of the war there were 400 Witnesses, the first assembly after the war
was visited by 1,000 Witnesses. After the war we had a new school and
Watchtower published on “Holiness”, we had bible study meetings. I had terrible
nightmares a long time and I cry out in my dreams “I want to remain neutral”.
