Quran 2:176,177 Truth was sent in a book Who cause dispute far from the purpose of reason are doomed to schism Prayer is not righteousness Spend your substance generously, ransom slaves, devotion to telling true, fulfill your promises of love throughout all phases of panic
Write the truth to clarify it
Those who cause unreasonable dispute are doomed to schism
Righteousness is not visible in prayer
Words of prayer are not enough on their own to take responsibility
Show of your own substance generosity, this is the show of the righteous
Ransom of slaves and devotion to truth telling are shows of righteousness
Fulfill your promises of love through times of danger and fear
Quran 2:178 Equality is prescribed if you love the truth
Woman for woman, slave for slave If remission is made by the brother of the slain
grant any reasonable demand and compensate him with handsome gratitude It is a
concession of mercy from God Whomever exceeds limits shall get a grave penalty
Men are created equally in their human powers
A woman is equal to exchange only for another woman, slave for slave
Compensate a slain man’s brother however you can pacify his sense of justice
Men should not seek the life for the life of other men, it is a mercy from God
Slaying the man for the death of a man exceeds the limits, God will cause them
grief
Quran 2:179,180 God wants for the equality of saving a
life to restrain men from the thought of not saving life of other men If death
approaches a man and he loves God he should give all he has gained in the life
of this world to his close family according to usefulness
Don’t put in your heart that for every man’s death
another man’s death to compensate it
If death is reaching for a man he should pass on all his possessions to his
family
Quran 2:181,182 If anyone chances the bequest after hearing it the guilt is with the ones who make the change Fear partiality Fear wrongdoing if you love justice and truth Keep the peace between everyone concerned, with carefulness not to wrong any of them
A man who risks a request going unanswered is dishonorable
A man who withholds what is requested is guilty for withholding
Don’t let your soul become comfortable with favoring one over another in your
deeds
If you love justice keep peacemaking between everybody concerned
Be careful not to wrong anyone who is concerned with the truth
Quran 2:183,184 Fast as former peoples did a fixed number
of days unless you are not physically healthy or on a journey, then instead fast
when you are healthy and at home If you fast during hardship you wished
secretly to ransom yourself Feed the undignified so he in turn gives of his own
free will
Fasting is meant for healthy men who are not travelling
If you are fasting through hardships you wanted to ransom your soul
Feed the people who are undignified so that your generosity lends to him
feelings of generosity
Letting men love of their own free will is closer to the truth and away from
falsehood
