The Nazi made a plan to kill all the Jews, everything was precise, they knew psychology and were using our way of thinking to kill us, we trust them, and nothing could stop them. I couldn’t believe it that nobody survived from my big family. Nobody attached to their brain that the Germans are going to kill us the way they were killing us. My father was killed with prominent intellectuals and businessmen. I was once on a transport, I cut the barbed wire on the window and escaped. My father was an officer in the first world war, he had friends of the Polish nobility. I got in contact with the Polish underground through high ranking officers in the Armia Krajowa, friends of my father and mother. I was introduced to a small unit, I was reading and writing letters for the Polish underground, I felt responsible to keep the Polish youth informed. The war ended the Jewish organizations made youth houses where I lived and went to school for engineering.
