In islam it is sunnah that you make treaties with the people of the land. all people have the right to choose their religion.

there are foundational safeguards known.  you know the strength of a protection when you need it the most.  you realize how strong and how protective these are.  

the way to protect the land is with the law.  the law is made for the people because the land is made for the people.  the land is not made for governments. the government is a servant.  

there are some foundational things you know are the protection.  in the treaty between the people and the government in a land.  some of those things are: the freedom to talk.  

with the way of the freedom to talk.  is the freedom to think.  if you say you are not free to talk it is near to say you are not free to think.  

the freedom to talk.  this is sunnah.  

the freedom of religion.  this is sunnah.  

the freedom of writing.

the freedom of the press.

these are fundamental.  

islam is in harmony with those things. 

fundamental need in syria is those things.  those protections.  from the ability to talk. 

the first sign of danger from the regime and the first dangerous message from the regime is that you are not free to talk.  many people went to jail for the crime of talking. 

next you are not free to think.  then you are not free to live in this land.  

These are the fundamental needs of the people of the North Syria.  These are very connected with Islam and the Sunnah.

One day after we hear of american convoys with a big air space presence moving toward Azaz.  Next we hear of women in Afrin being detained with bombs attached to their bodies.  Very strange news.  Does not make any sense.  

Witnesses said there was a large number of airplanes.  With that number and all the noise they made.  That is not a team coming to extract a leader of islamic states.  The special operations teams are the ones who go and retrieve  high value people.  Targets.  They go in the dark of night secretly.  They extract quietly and return.  They will not ride in with engines roaring over the sky making a big scene.    My initial thought is they are escorting a commander and possibly a small battle group.  I feel Syria is a brother of Iraq.  The fight started in Iraq and moved into Syria.  We will not have the same fate as Iraq.  The americans are possibly chaning command.  That means they have a new mission.  The americans are an easy and strong advantage.  It is not to anyone's advantage to deny use of weapons when you have them.  They are an advantage.  They are easy to use.  The american army is very much attached to the law and the code of honor.  The low level army men are normal people.  The special forces have a greater rank and command.    They are very free on the battlefield.  The cia and the special forces have a great freedom on the battlefield.  They would act differently from normal army men.  That will be two different types of people you would be negotiating.  The american army is an easy tool to use.  Its not dangerous.  You can look to Iraq to see.  Look at Iraq and ask yourself what will be helpful to you. What is the way out of this hell? What is going to help us the most?  Allahu Akbar!
