The results of what is happening in Iran have a very big foundation that's rooted in the way that the world is working. For example in Iran they have a regime a regime, a government that is run by an Ayatollah. He has absolute dictatorial powers over all of the life in the nation. There is a big government that all subscribes to this ideology. That are trying to move towards this ideology. Where one person gets to be the dictator. Over all of the life. And can take everything and have every whim and wish of his. They all subscribe to this idea. They are pushing it up. All the people in the government are saying yes i like this idea. We are going to have one dictator with all the power and its going to be so wonderful. They are all part of that structure of his power.
The country of Iran has been suffering international sanctions for a very long time. For ten years or longer than that. The impact of those sanctions was that if they want to buy or sell anything between their country and other countries. Their ships will be stopped in the water. Anything they tried to transport, a foreign countries army would come in the water and literally stop them. They said you are not going to trade with the world. It was absolutely, sanctions are cutting off a country from the world. Iran has suffered a lot in the last ten years. The iranians need food, water, shelter, a household. That was not in the interest of their organizing power which is the government. The government is using all of this top down forces. Like laws, and its governmental powers, and its police forces. Its using this machine of the government to exert all of this top down pressure on these people who are very helpless to withstand that kind of force. It is very much a weaponized government against the people. The government didn't think it was very important to make sure that all of the iranians can shower every day or that they didn't need to work 12 hour days. Or that they had enough food. Why would you have to work 12 hours a day to live if you have food. If you have the water. If you have a nice home. If you have nice clothes. Why can't the people of iran manage that?
In the history of the world people felt like they didn't have to care what happened in a different land. Now we are so connected to each other in the world. Not only from being able to travel. Now we can actually go and witness this and have a say. We could even live in two different countries. We could have businesses in two different countries. We could make massive trade deals between countries. And the internet. This has changed the landscape or theatre of the workings.
Iran has been sanctioned for over ten years. That's a war time application. They are enduring. They have been in a war time landscape. The iranians have. They have suffered it.
When there was a lockdown because of the world virus. The corona. There was a movement in america named black lives matter. We know that was not about black lives. It was not. But the black lives are the total and absolute symbol of oppression that the people stood behind so that they could organize. That is what is happening here in Iran now. Iran has endured oppression for so long. Everyone who is watching what is happening in Russia now. The russians in the same position that adolf hitler put the germans in. Russians are being drafted and sent to the front lines of a ferocious and bloody battle. The russians were well aware of where they were being drafted to go. They could not individually stand up and speak anything against this kind of top down force. The russians need protection. Like a shield. Now the sorry russians are literally running out there with no shields. They have no shields. They didn't get a chance. Its straight world war two adolf hitler style. Where you don't even have a chance to defend yourself. You won't even have a chance to raise up your shield. They are being drafted. The russians are trying to cross over the border and the border guards are sending them to the recruiting station.
The iranians have took a symbol of this total depravity. This is similar to how george floyd was a symbol of absolute depravity. Think about how many black people are being terrorized by the police forces. You know there is a certain kind of person who decides I want to be a police officer. There is certain kind of people who say i have had so much injustice in my life that i don't want to go to jail. I don't care if this crazy man puts on his police siren and stop my car and exert his superiority over me. I am going to run. The penalty for running away from the law is not death. Its not death. You cannot put a capital punishment. We don't even agree that its okay to use capital punishment in a civilized world.
When he was a little baby in his mothers arms is he responsible for everything? No. Everything that happens in your life is absolutely an influence of your environment and your upbringing. When these people decided that they don't want to go to jail tonight and they run. You have no authority in a civilized world under the law. You have no authority to gun him down for running. If he wants to run its okay. If he had drugs in his car what is the problem here. The penalty for drugs in your car is not death. You can translate this to what is happening in Iran. There was a girl her hijab was not covering all her hair. You know what. More than likely her hijab was not the problem. More than likely she said something that someone did not like. Because everybody in the middle east who has had to live under dictatorial regimes knows that. I am sure. Her hijab was probably wearing correctly. She was taken to jail for a reason that had nothing to do with her hijab. Most likely had something to do with more like something she said on facebook. The iranian youth are rallying. In this kind of protest the reason why they are doing this has nothing to do with this girl dying. Many girls like her are already dead for doing something small. This is not the first young girl, twenty year old that was beaten to death and murdered by police. I am sure of that. It was true in syria. This is exactly what was happening in syria. People were being attacked and taken away and killed in the jails one by one. Quietly. It was never a problem. When the syrians saw the oppression in the whole country was getting to be so tremendous then suddenly the boy in the street has a bigger meaning. The thirteen year old boys who wrote something on the wall. Those are the people who have the story you can get behind it and use it as a shield. When the world looks at you. You know your government is an evil dictatorial government. You try to go out there and say I want women to be able to drive cars, no one is going to say i want women to drive cars so deeply that i am going to die for this. There is hundreds of people being killed in iran now. Not because they care so much about whether you can wear the hijab or not. The reason why is because they know its so dangerous in iran. They are literally in big danger. All they had to do was look across the world and see what is happening to the russians. This event of ukraine and what is happening to the russians there is such a big sign in the whole world. The iranians the young people are seeing this. And they know without a doubt what is coming for them.
It was the same way in the lockdown in america when the lockdown happened. When the businesses shut down. The people who had small business were told you cannot open your italian restaurant today. However mcdonalds is permitted to remain open. Then they knew it. They paid the price. They paid. They paid with their life. They paid with their whole lifestyle. Now the iranians know that they are going to pay with their lives. They already have been paying so much. With all of their lifestyle all of their sweat and their pain and their hunger. Everything that is happening in the whole country all of this time. Then they saw that you are going to be so brutal to this girl for this small thing. They can use that as a shield. At this time these beautiful young girls who died in police custody for probably something she said. They are the shield that millions of girls are going to stand behind. Because how dare you gun down with your rifles and your army a bunch of girls. Protesting against a hijab.
If they were bunch of girls protesting for a higher working salary if all of these young school girls are saying i want better salary then no one will feel bad for them when somebody takes a rifle and kills them in the streets. But if you were to take your rifles into the streets and you are going to gun down little girls because they said what you did to this little girl is wrong.
There is no doubt in any grandfathers mind that this is wrong. I am sorry my iranian grandfather you are wrong. There is not a soul in this country that is going to stand behind you grandfather when you are saying that it is okay to take that twenty two year old girl to death. This is a shield that these girls are putting up. Its not about a hijab. Its a sign that the iranian people understand that their destiny lays in the balance.
Now you see there is more than two hundred people killed. In these protests about the hijab. Notice how lets say its about teachers salary. The people on the street would not be coming back outside the next day and say why did you kill people yesterday because they wanted teachers salary. They would not stay inside their home and tell themselves that they don't care about a small amount of money in my salary. No. This is on a whole bigger level than that. They know this is the end of the line for them. They are trying to create a protection or a buffer for themselves.
