Quran Surah 2 Al Baqarah Ayat 57-64

 

Quran 2: 57,58 God gave clouds as shade, sent food inviting you eat the good things provided God told you to enter the gate of town with humility, a posture to converse with words Take from plenty therein Faults are forgiven, proportions of those who do good increase
Nourish your body with good sustenance to honor yourself

If someone gives you food converse with them in gratitude
Impoverishment of men should be safeguarded against with charity
Charity is a beautiful adornment of man’s conscience

 Quran 2: 59,60 Transgressors change the words given to them Transgressors are a plague from heaven after they infringed repeatedly the command of God Moses prayed for water and when he struck a rock with his staff water gushed forth Twelve water springs are there Each group had its own place for water Eat and drink the sustenance Do no evil or mischief upon this earth

Manipulation often starts with words
Wrongdoers often rely on secrecy
Water is a sacred daily need for the human body
Dwellings are founded upon life’s need for drinking water
Evil is a disgrace of man, sabotage is a degradation of man

 

Quran 2:61 Moses heard that the people cannot endure one kind of food always The Israelites beseeched him for produce of the earth grows He said, its better don’t exchange what is better for what is worse because of appetite Israelites felt humiliated, miserable They couldn’t make sense of the signals from God and lost hope in the messages

Hunger induces exhaustion of the spirit
A man’s tolerance of hardship is revitalized by reassuring him conditions will improve
The produce of the soil is the most chemically satiating of human body
Food is one of man’s greatest temptation
Don’t sacrifice a good position for a bad position unnecessarily
The source of depravity of men’s life ultimately aims to kill him
Depriving men of food is a murderous act
Anger overwhelms the abilities of the thinking process

  

Quran 2:62 Those who read the Quran and the Bible, Torah with devotion and strive to do the right thing will feel rewarded On the day of death they won’t feel afraid and grieve about it

The Quran and Bible were given to different people based on their homeland
The Quran will ease man’s fear and grief in life
The Bible will ease man’s fear and grief in life
Men should strive to do the right thing for the sake of love for himself
The grief of death is soothed by memories of good doings
If man can make peace with himself he will experience bliss

 

 

Quran 2:63,64 Moses went onto a mountain with a high viewpoint and wrote a covenant for his people and God to bond with them through shared value of truth and trust worth Affections let you abounding in graciousness Mercy from loss of you was earned
Agreement comes from like mindedness
Writing and reading increases mindfulness
Writing supports sophisticated thinking
Like mindedness inspires trust
The affections of others bestow you with grace
Affection bonds one person to another
