My beloved Gaza,
Ramadan approaches during a starvation siege. Fasting, not eating in the daylight hours is for the purpose to re-sensitize the organs of the body, restoring ones senses which simultaneously returns a mans control over his own intake. Fasting for Ramadan during the siege of Gaza is a time of remarkable deprivation. The diet of noodles and lentils is a starvation diet calculated to kill over time, so we are skin and bones, starved to the last calorie in our blood. That we could not digest normal food anymore. Teachings of the holy books shows the connection to God is made to be pleasure not pain. That being a good Muslim is completely internal and cannot be seen on the outside. There will be many fasting followers who will never get near the heels of Gods path this month. The body requires particular proportions of nutrients, water, oxygen, which is integral to your physiology. The power of the food and the drinks are in your hands, then your mouth, then your physiologic systems. Intake done by the body is for the purpose of energy interchange. Controlling your intake is fundamental to two of the pillars of Islam, the fasting and the remembrance through prayer. The prophet Joseph was the best teacher of the meaning of controlling our intake. The owner of the coat of many colors.
Surah 12, Yusuf, Joseph was youngest of 12 whose brothers had set in their hearts to kill him or sell him into slavery. To remove him from the families existence. They brought a coat of many colors covered with blood to their father, that his youngest will never come home.

The generosity of someone compels the spirit of man to reciprocate in favor towards the thing which his intake is supplied. Quran 12.59 When Yusuf has supplied their provisions he said to them bring your brother with you Have you not seen that I have given full measure
You may be seduced to take in something by persons who will put your character on trial through it. You may become redeemed by your intake because in it your innocence appears. Quran 12.70 When Yusuf had given them their provisions he put his goblet in his brother’s saddle-bag
Beloved people of Gaza, as Ramadan begins let us remember the meaning of fasting is to purify the senses. We are currently starving and beyond being in a warzone, that families are being holocaust. Let us in the Ramadan 2026 forgive ourselves from the deprivation of our senses. Under holocaust and death by starvation we cannot possibly bear the pillar of fasting anymore purely and whole heartedly than another man on the entire planet. We are the purist and holiest of the ones who are seeking forgiveness in this ritual month of purification.
