Quran 2:264,265 Cancel not your charity by reminders of
your generosity or by injury, he is like a bare stone which is little soil
falls heavy rain, they cannot earn good deeds Who spend their substance
striving in the way of God strengthen their soul and becomes like a garden
which yields double harvest even if lacking rain
Don’t spend of your substance desiring to be seen by men
Striving in the way of God improves the strength of the soul

Whom spend substance towards the way of God are fruitful even when lacking
nourishment
Quran 2:266,267 Should a man have a beautiful fruitful
garden in old age and his children are not strong enough to look after
themselves they would be caught in fire and burn, this is an obvious sign That
you would give away from your earnings only what you don’t want for yourself
Teach your children to fend for themselves so that when
catastrophe falls they do not overwhelm you.
As much as you may like your children to depend only on you, it is beyond your
limits
Whom gives only what he doesn’t want for himself has lost grace
Quran 2:268,269 The evil one threatens you with poverty
and bids for you to conduct yourself unseemly You are promised forgiveness from
God and bounties To whom wisdom is granted has a benefit overflowing and only
men of understanding will grasp the message
It is evilness to bring any threat of poverty against
people
Although you may do unseemly conduct God forgives and rewards bountifully
Wisdom contains overflowing benefits
Quran 2:270,271 Whatever you spend in devotion and
charities is recognized for its goodness It is better to conceal charity and
make it reach the people most in need so that you are restored from the blemish
of your misdeeds
How you spend your devotion and charity is acknowledged
by God
Reach for the people most in need if you will restore yourself from your
blemishes
